The Yoder lab travels to Portland for Evolution 2017!

Anne gave a plenary talk for SSB, Kelsie presented a poster, and Rachel, Ryan, and incoming-postdoc George Tiley all gave talks!  


Ryan received a Departmental Fellowship for Spring 2018! – Congrats, Ryan!

It will support him while he wraps up his dissertation.


Anne has been named the Braxton Craven Professor of Evolutionary Biology!!!

Annabelle has graduated and will be joining a lab at UCSB next fall! – Congratulations, Annabelle!!!


Emily completed her undergraduate thesis project and graduated with distinction in Biology! She will be starting veterinary school at Virginia Tech next fall!! – Congrats!!!


Izzi completed her undergraduate thesis project and graduated with distinction in Evolutionary Anthropology! – Congratulations!!!


Ryan was awarded the Duke Biology Graduate TA award this semester! – Congrats, Ryan!!!


Izzi presented a poster at the Duke University Visible Thinking Symposium!


Congratulations to Dr. Erin McKenney!!! – Erin successfully defended and has accepted a position as a post-doc in Rob Dunn’s lab at NC State! Great work, Erin!


Anne was invited to give a talk for the International Symposium on Biodiversity in Madagascar at Sokendai in Japan!!!

She will present a talk on the origin and evolution of mammals in Madagascar!
