Maia wins the James B. Rast Award for Comparative Organismal Biology and presents her senior thesis!!

Maia is the recipient of this year’s James B. Rast Award for Comparative Organismal Biology. The award is given to a student who has demonstrated excellence working in integrative and comparative organismal biology. The award comes with $200, and Maia’s achievement will be recognized at the Duke Biology graduation ceremony. Congratulations, Maia!!!

Maia also did a fantastic job presenting a poster on her senior thesis at the Biology Graduation with Distinction poster session!
