Desireé ventures into Duke Forest to record bat calls for her dissertation work!

Desireé successfully installed ultrasonic recorders to capture bat calls in Duke Forest! She will use the collected data to analyze preferred bat habitat use in relation to Duke Forest stand ages with presumed implications for forest management impacts more broadly. We are excited to see what she finds!
