Anne is granted a Marcil-Monahan award from Trinity College of Arts and Sciences!!

Anne is the recipient of a Marcil-Monahan Scholars Seed Grant to support our lab’s collaboration with Dr. Jason Somarelli. The award provides $40,000 to support efforts described in the proposal entitled, “Discovering the genetic mechanisms of metabolic plasticity in primates: insights from genomics and cell biology for ultimate translation to human health.” We are excited to continue developing cell culture resources from lemurs that will allow us to investigate the genetic switches that initiate programmed metabolic depression!
